Florida Statutes section 447.309: collective bargaining

The certified employee organization and public employer bargain over represented employees’ wages, hours, and terms and conditions of employment; the public employer and bargaining-unit employees must ratify an agreement, and the chief executive must seek legislative-body appropriations needed to fund it.
