The peer-reviewed U.S. systems model projected that high electric-vehicle adoption would reduce net carbon dioxide emissions through 2050 across tested electric-sector pathways, with larger reductions under cleaner generation and relatively small net air-pollutant changes. These are modeled national outcomes, not observed Orlando or municipal-fleet results.
