FEMA Public Assistance process

After a qualifying declaration, eligible governments may seek assistance for documented eligible work. FEMA identifies debris and emergency work categories and a federal share of not less than 75 percent, leaving eligibility, documentation, cash-flow and nonfederal-share exposure.
